Please Stop Laughing at Me book review
Description from goodreads:
In her poignant work Please Stop Laughing at Me..., Jodee Blanco tells how school became a frightening and painful place, where threats, humiliation, assault, and cruelty were as much a part of her daily experience as bubble gum and lip-gloss were for others.
REVIEW:
This book was almost an eye opening, I know kids are teased, I see it everyday, being in highschool at least one child at our school kills themselves each year, that is too many. It made me realize how cruel and mean some people really are. I was shocked to read about the authors experiences with bullying and it was inspiring to see her overcome it. I feel like I should go to school tomorrow and stick up for someone, give everybody a copy of this book. I feel like this book can help kids from being harmed.3/5
