Rules of Attraction Review

Rules of Attraction (Perfect Chemistry, #2)

Description from goodreads:
When Carlos Fuentes returns to America after living in Mexico for a year, he doesn’t want any part of the life his older brother, Alex, has laid out for him at a high school in Colorado . Carlos likes living his life on the edge and wants to carve his own path—just like Alex did. Then he meets Kiara Westford. She doesn’t talk much and is completely intimidated by Carlos’ wild ways. As they get to know one another, Carlos assumes Kiara thinks she’s too good for him, and refuses to admit that she might be getting to him. But he soon realizes that being himself is exactly what Kiara needs right now.

REVIEW:

Once again we join the Fuentes brothers, only this time it's Carlos that is the main focus. Carlos is rebellious just like Alex was. when Carlos meets Kiara, his life changes. Kiara is completely different than Carlos- quiet, good student, good citizen, and Carlos wants nothing to do with her. When Carlos breaks the rules and has to stay with Kiara's family, he discovers who the real Kiara is and Kiara realizes she needs him more than she thinks.

I loved this book, I liked it just as much as the first which was surprising to me because I was just in love with Alex, but I like Carlos too. Kiara was different than Brittany which was good, and Carlos and Alex were sort of alike, though I did enjoy getting to see Alex after he had changed so much. I think Carlos grew into a better person, he changed for the better, which was nice to see. 5/5
