Delirium Review

Delirium (Delirium, #1)

Description from goodreads:
Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing. They didn’t understand that once love -- the deliria -- blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold. Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the governments demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Holoway has always looked forward to the day when she’ll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy.

But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable: She falls in love.

REVIEW:
In a world where love is a disease and a surgery upon turning 18 is the cure, a young girl must choose love or feel nothing.

I love this book, so different and hard to believe that love could ever be a disease, I love, in there world they are punished for it. No freedom to love, listen to certain types of music, always being monitored, it would feel like a prison.

I liked the love between the characters and the passion they felt for eachother, even though they knew the consequences, they loved eachother enough to give up everything, it was beautiful!!!! 5/5
